Cellpack Products Fulfill the New European Regulation REACH
The new European regulation REACH (Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of CHemicals) concerning chemical products has been enforced the 1 June 2007. The objective of this regulation is the environment protection, as well as the protection of the health of the population. The pre-registration delay expired the 1st of December 2008, therewith ending the first phase of the implementation of the REACH regulation. Cellpack is glad to inform you that all products concerned by REACH (EG) Nr.1906/2007 have been registered. The CELLPACK products do not contain any SVHC (Substances of Very High Concern) at a concentration > 1%, as per the list of the European Chemical Agency ECHA, published the 28.10.2008 on the web site http://echa.europa.eu/chem_data/candidate_list_en.aspor the list contained in Annexe XIV of the EG Nr.1906/2007 regulation. Cellpack harnesses new energies.

Cellpack AG Electrical Products with registered office in Villmergen (AG) has acquired Huser+Peyer AG, Busswil (TG) and Stationenbau AG, Villmergen, with Rutschmann AG, Grüningen (ZH) and Kabinenbau AG, Kirchberg (BE); they are all successful power engineering companies. The new group of companies is part of the Behr Bircher Cellpack BBC Group; the union of these businesses with their long-standing tradition will make Cellpack one of the leading Swiss providers of all-round power supply and distribution solutions.
Through this acquisition, Cellpack has strengthened its expertise in high quality cable connectors for medium and low voltage applications. It will also be completing its range of products and services and extending this to include power distribution systems and transformer stations. This merger will give customers access to a comprehensive range from a single source. A strong group of companies is being created in this way for long-term business on the Swiss power systems market backed by the expertise and innovative spirit of its more than 350 employees.
Cellpack's winning team Cellpack Electrical Products sponsors an Austrian Rallye Championship car. Since 2007 Cellpack Electrical Products is one of the sponsors of a Golf Kit car participating in the Diesel class of Austrian Rallye Championship. Willi Rabl and Uschi Breineßl finished 3rd of the Diesel Championship, an excellent result for their first full season, in which they finished first twice, second 2 times plus one third and a fourth place.
